Before starting RUL with Lizzy in 2009, Danielle Rini Uva was Senior Designer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and Art Director for the webzine Hotel Bruce. Danielle specializes in book and non-profit collateral design. She received a BFA in graphic design from Ohio University and worked as a designer at several firms in Chicago and Cleveland. Danielle has served as adjunct faculty in the Communication Design department of the Cleveland Institute of Art since 2005.

Lizzy Lee has been a graphic designer and art director in the field of design/advertising/branding for NYC and Philadelphia agencies, including Doyle Partners, Number Seventeen, and Gyro Advertising designing for clients including Gap/Banana Republic, Martha Stewart, and Smartcar. She moved to Cleveland in 2006 and was the exhibition graphic designer for the Cleveland Museum of Art until 2009, when she and Danielle started RUL. Lizzy received her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design. She is currently a 2011 CPAC Creative Workforce Fellowship Seth Rosenberg Prize recipient.

Katie Parland is a recent graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. After receiving her BFA in Communication Design, she began working with RUL. She enjoys projects that allow her to incorporate her love of silkscreening, illustration, and hand-drawn type. In 2010, Katie was selected as one of Graphic Design USA's Students to Watch.
